New York Sour

Ingredients

  • 50 ml rye or bourbon
  • 25 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15 ml sugar syrup
  • 10 ml egg white (optional)
  • 15 ml fruity red wine (float)

Instructions

  1. Dry shake (if using egg white); add ice; shake again; strain over fresh ice.
  2. Float red wine carefully on top.
