Chicken and Barley Stew¶

Ingredients¶

• 1 vegetable stock cube, made up to 400 ml
• 1 bay leaf
• 20 g pearl barley, washed
• 1 celery stick, chopped
• 1 medium carrot, chopped
• 1 medium leek, trimmed and chopped
• 120 g chicken breast, grilled
• 1 tsp fresh chives
