Teriyaki Beef Stir Fry

Ingredients

  • 500 g lean beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 200 g egg noodles
  • 1 1/2-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 300 g green beans, trimmed and cut into 2 cm pieces
  • 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Instructions

  1. Put the steak in a bowl, add the chilli flakes, season and toss to combine. Set aside.
  2. Cook the noodles according to pack instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. Heat the oil in a large wok or frying pan and stir-fry the ginger over a high heat for 30 seconds. Add the beans and stir-fry 3-5 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  4. Increase the heat to high and stir-fry the beef in batches for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Return the beans to the wok along with the noodles and teriyaki sauce. Toss to combine and stir-fry 1-2 minutes until hot.
